It is reported that the main research contents of the project include the construction technology of LNG ship hull, the installation process of steam power plant, the design, manufacture and installation of power pipe system, the on-site management, installation, test, welding process of cargo hold system, insulation box manufacturing and Localization of insulation materials, manufacture of liquid cargo systems, installation technology and commissioning technology, manufacturing, installation and dismantling of scaffolding for cargo tanks, covering a wide range and high difficulty. To this end, Hudong Zhonghua has set up a research project team and a number of research groups to decompose each topic item by item, and to divide the work according to the professional content, to implement specific personnel, according to project progress requirements and node plans, annual progress and goals. The task of tackling the problem was successfully completed on time.

It is understood that the “Research on Key Manufacturing Technologies for Large Film Type LNG Ships” involves a large number of key technologies. In view of the structural characteristics of the LNG ship, the project team has formulated a reasonable sub-division, total group and precision control technical plan, which has met the requirements for the accuracy and flatness of the cargo hold structure specified by the cargo containment system; research and development of a complete set of large steam penetration The installation process and precision control scheme of the gearbox are mastered, and the key technologies for the installation and commissioning of the steam power unit are mastered, the installation accuracy of the turbine unit and the boiler is ensured, and the installation of the special steel steam line under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure is solved. Process problems such as welding and testing have formed relevant technical documents; the system has developed on-site management, installation, testing and welding processes for the cargo hold system, and solved technical problems such as the assembly of the insulation box and the welding process of the Invar film. Mastered the spatial tightness test technology of the cargo tank and insulation layer, and established the planning and logistics management system of the cargo tank enclosure system. It is feasible to study the manufacturing process and precision control of the insulation box, establish the insulation box manufacturing pipeline, and realize the insulation. Box manufacturing and insulation materials localization; development of low temperature stainless steel tube welding The art, insulation process, installation process and the manufacture, pre-assembly and hoisting process of the cargo tank pump tower successfully completed the design, installation and commissioning of the monitoring and alarm system for the cargo tank and insulation space; The localization of the manufacture of special scaffolding for LNG ships has been achieved by the distribution, installation and removal methods and procedures of dedicated scaffolding.

Through the research of this project, Hudong Zhonghua has a number of scientific and technological achievements with independent intellectual property rights, and has applied for 3 invention patents and 1 utility model patent, and has been accepted. The research results of these key manufacturing technologies not only helped Hudong Zhonghua successfully build the first LNG ship in China, but also laid the foundation for the further development of China's LNG ship construction.
