High-power pulsating combustion boiler fills the domestic gap

Daqing Petrochemical Plant independently developed 7 sets of high-power pulsating combustion boilers, which have been in good operation for half a year, and all technical indicators have reached the international technological level of similar equipment. It is reported that this is the first time that China has successfully developed a high-power pulsating combustion boiler.

Pulsation combustion is a special kind of periodic combustion process. Compared with the conventional combustion technology of steady-state combustion, it not only has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, and safety, but also has a very low pollutant content in the exhaust gas, and almost no incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons, smoke and carbon deposits. At present, China's oil fields have applied more than 5000 sets of pulsating combustion heating equipment, mostly imported from abroad, and lack high-power equipment. Daqing Petrochemical Plant aimed at this market and formed a dedicated research team to research and develop the equipment. New products were launched into Daqing Oilfield Company as soon as they were introduced. According to calculations, if this type of high-power pulsating combustion boiler can be widely used and popularized throughout the country, China can save 380 million yuan in fuel and operation and maintenance costs annually, and save 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually.

It is also used as lubricant for polyolefin fiber and molding plastic, thickening agent for grease, waterproofing agent for textile, smoothing agent for paint, plasticizer for making plastic records, etc. It is also used in the production of pencil cores and in the pharmaceutical and spice industries.
