On Monday, May 15, 2017, at 10:58 p.m., firefighters from Lake Zurich responded to a house fire at 22580 Somerset Court. Upon arrival, they discovered that the garage and several vehicles were already engulfed in flames. Due to the lack of hydrants in the area, the alarm was escalated to a MABAS Box Alarm, which brought in multiple fire engines and tankers to transport water to the scene. This coordinated effort ensured that crews had enough water to tackle the blaze effectively.
The incident showcased the teamwork and preparedness of local emergency services.
