New home for Frankfort FPD engine

The Staton House Fire and Rescue Department, Inc. is now home to a former Frankfort Fire Protection District (FPD) engine that was originally purchased in 2008—a Pierce Arrow XT pumper that was sold in February 2016. This piece of firefighting history has found a new purpose and continues to serve the community with reliability and dedication. This particular apparatus was once part of the Frankfort FPD in Illinois, where it played a vital role in emergency response for years. Now stationed at Staton House, Engine 1403 is a symbol of continuity and service.
