From December 18 to December 19, 2007, representatives from more than 600 commercial vehicle and parts industries across the country gathered in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province to discuss the development of China's commercial vehicle parts distribution business.
Wang Yuyang, general manager of China Automotive Industry Parts Sales Company, said at the meeting that at present, the scale of production and sales of commercial vehicles in China is already the largest in the world, and the largest number of production and sales companies in the world. International commercial vehicle giants are also in various ways. The Chinese market seeks development. China’s commercial vehicle market is one of the most competitive markets in the world. As soon as possible, the production and sales association platform is set up, and production and sales can be effectively communicated and exchanged earlier. There will be business opportunities for exchanges, and there will be a win-win situation for production and sales. The joint production and sales companies and self-disciplined development are our historical missions. Through this joint platform, we will work on the establishment of industry circulation standards, employee training, expert clarification, and reflection of appeals. The production and marketing federation does not buy or sell, but rather pays attention to the development of the industry, the formulation of industry game rules, and the study of industry self-discipline.
After serious discussions among delegates, the meeting reached the following consensus: First, set up the “Preparatory Committee for the China Commercial Vehicle Parts Production and Marketing Federationâ€, Wang Xiaoyang as the director of the preparatory committee, Wang Jiming and Yan Lixing as standing deputy directors; and secondly, Harbin National Automobile in the Spring of 2008. The inaugural meeting was held at the accessories trade fair.
