It is reported that the PureSOx scrubber was introduced in 2012 and continues to burn heavy oil while meeting Sox restrictions. In the following years, the PureSOx scrubber has evolved into a highly flexible scrubber platform and is ready to meet the 2020 global sulfur emission limits.
With the ongoing optimization and the introduction of new solutions, the current PureSOx scrubber will continue to be developed. Especially at the Alfa Laval Testing and Testing Center, the platform has been able to meet a wide range of customer needs.
