1. Before the surge protector string is connected to the protected equipment, the power must be turned off and no live operation is allowed.

2. It is installed in series between the lines of the equipment to be protected, the interface connection must be reliable, and the surge protector has the IN and OUT flags. The output is connected to the protected device. Do not reverse it. Otherwise, the surge protector will be damaged during lightning strike and the device will not be effectively protected (refer to the installation wiring diagram).

3. The grounding wire (PE) must be reliably connected to the ground of the surge protection system, and the shortest length is required to achieve the best protection effect.

4. When disconnecting the grounding wire, disconnect the device and avoid damaging the device due to the introduction of strong current such as electric welding from the ground end.

5. Connect the ground wire of the surge protector to the metal housing of the device to the ground collection bar.
