From February 9th to 14th, the Xiangfan Factory of Dongfeng Dynamo Axle achieved a daily production of over 800 axles. The entire rear axle assembly process advanced steadily, reflecting strong operational efficiency. Throughout the factory, employees seized high-yield opportunities and laid a solid foundation for a successful start to the new year at Wuzi.
In January, the Xiangfan plant's front and rear axle assembly saw significant growth, with front axle output rising by 52% and rear axle output increasing by 31% compared to the same period last year. For February, the factory set a record-high target of producing 17,840 units of front and rear axles. This ambitious goal not only pushed the team to their limits but also greatly boosted the morale of both management and staff.
To ensure the success of this high-yield task, the Xiangfan plant made thorough preparations before the Spring Festival. Equipment maintenance was carefully carried out, especially in antifreeze measures for all machinery and facilities. Each department conducted deep post-holiday mobilization efforts, ensuring that employees were mentally ready for work well in advance. By the first month of April, the entire factory was fully engaged in production. Some workshops even started working during mid-shifts and night shifts on the third day of the lunar new year, showing their strong commitment.
Faced with the challenge of increased output, the plant continuously sought ways to improve performance. The production department ensured timely resource availability while strengthening management assessments to guarantee the completion of the Nissan plan. In response to power shortages, the workshops organized production efficiently, taking full advantage of low electricity rates during off-peak hours. Both day and night shifts were fully utilized, and a friendly competition among teams helped drive productivity higher. As a result, the production capacity for axle assemblies and components significantly improved, marking a major step forward in the factory’s performance.
