This morning, Jim Skrabel responded to a box alarm in Troy and captured several images along with this detailed account:
"The fire broke out at Auto-Masters, located at 724 Cottage Street in Shorewood, Illinois. The structure involved was a single-story auto repair shop measuring 25x40 feet, with a two-story residence attached to the back. Upon arrival, firefighters were met with intense flames and thick smoke. They deployed three 2 1/2-inch lines and one 1 3/4-inch line to combat the blaze. Thanks to the swift actions of the Troy fire crew, the fire was quickly brought under control."
