Skokie firefighters responded to a residential fire at 9163 Lincoln Avenue on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015, at 11:00 AM. At the time of the incident, multiple Skokie fire companies were already engaged in emergency medical service (EMS) calls. A "Box Alarm" was issued before the first units arrived, which triggered additional support from neighboring departments including Evanston, Wilmette, and Morton Grove. This coordinated response also included units arriving for shift changes, ensuring a strong and immediate presence at the scene.
