New engine for Grayslake FPD (more)

The Grayslake Fire Protection District (FPD) held a wet-down and push-in ceremony today at Station 1 to officially welcome their new Rosenbauer pumper truck. Engine 271 is now on duty, replacing the old Seagrave engine that will be relocated to Station 3. The event was a great opportunity for the community to see the new apparatus in action and celebrate the continued growth of local fire services.

The event featured a traditional wet-down, where the new engine was thoroughly tested with water to ensure all systems are functioning properly. It was a proud moment for the department as they continue to modernize their fleet and enhance public safety.
