Several fire stations have recently updated their equipment and imagery, offering a more accurate representation of their current resources. Here's a breakdown of the updates:

  • Tinley Park – Added a new quint (a combination ladder and pumper truck).
  • Thornton – Introduced a new engine unit to support firefighting operations.
  • Posen – Replaced an old unit with a new squad truck for emergency response.
  • Winfield – Updated part of the numbering system for better clarity and organization.
  • West Chicago – Upgraded medic units and reorganized apparatus placement at the station.
  • Carol Stream – Enhanced medical response capabilities with new medic units and added Battalion 28 coverage.
  • Chicago Rescue 1 at O’Hare – Equipped with a new 2-7-8 configuration, improving operational flexibility.
  • Stone Park – Added a new ambulance to support local emergency services.
  • Round Lake – Updated station photos for both locations, providing clearer visuals of the facilities.
  • Huntley – Station photos 1 and 2 have been refreshed to reflect recent changes.
  • Oak Park – Received a new ambulance to enhance emergency care in the area.
  • Berwyn – Upgraded to a new ambulance for improved response times and patient care.
  • Hinsdale – Added a new ambulance to support ongoing emergency services.
  • Broadview – A new squad truck has been added to the fleet.
  • Downers Grove – Introduced a new battalion buggy to assist command and control operations.
  • Cicero – Added a new shift commander car and a fresh ambulance to the station.
  • Schaumburg – Updated ambulance units and introduced a new engine for enhanced firefighting capabilities.
