On December 26, 2007, Liaoyang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. successfully completed the construction and commissioning of three major projects: 200,000 tons of ethylene cracking, 200,000 tons of ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol, and 1.2 million tons of hydrofining equipment. This achievement marked a significant milestone in the company’s development, as it managed to finish these large-scale projects within just one month after completing two other key projects—30,000 tons of desulfurization/sulfur recovery and 800,000 tons of PTA production.
The completion of these projects not only ensured a steady supply of raw materials for the company’s polyester manufacturing but also laid a solid foundation for future expansion in the "diene" resin specialty materials sector. This strategic move demonstrated the company's strong operational capabilities and its commitment to long-term growth in the petrochemical industry. With these new facilities now fully operational, Liaoyang Petrochemical was well-positioned to enhance its competitive edge and meet the increasing demand for high-quality chemical products.
