Petrochemical Institute 5 Catalyst Recognized by Innovation

In 2009, the identification of important products of China's oil independent innovation was concluded. The five research and development achievements of China Petroleum and Petrochemical Research Institute were selected. The five achievements are: SD paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax hydrotreating catalyst, LY-9801D pyrolysis gasoline section hydrogenation catalyst, LY-9802 pyrolysis gasoline two-stage hydrogenation catalyst, LY-9601 high airspeed/high selectivity propylene oxidation Acrolein catalyst and LY-9602 catalyst for the oxidation of acrolein to acrylic acid.
The main function of SD paraffin wax and microcrystalline wax hydrogenation catalyst is to deep desulfurization and denitrification, and to reduce the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in paraffin and microcrystalline wax products to less than 2μg/g, so as to meet the requirements of nontoxic and zero damage to human body. . The catalyst was successfully applied to Fushun Petrochemical's first high-pressure hydrogenation unit in China, and its product quality met the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) international certification quality standard.
The LY-9802 pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation catalyst is mainly used to hydrolyze olefins while removing sulfur, nitrogen, and other impurities in the pyrolysis gasoline to provide qualified raw materials for extracting aromatic hydrocarbons. This achievement has been successfully applied to the 500,000 tons/year pyrolysis gasoline second stage hydrogenation unit of Fujian United Petrochemical Company.
High space velocity/high selectivity propylene oxidation to acrolein catalyst LY-9601 can be used in the process of propylene oxidation to acrolein, the conversion of propylene is over 98.0%; the new acrolein oxidation to acrylic acid catalyst LY-9602 can be used to prepare acrylic acid by two-step oxidation of propylene. It is a commonly used technical route and the acrolein conversion rate exceeds 98.5%. Both of these catalysts can replace imported products.
According to reports, since 2007, CNPC has established an identification system for important products for independent innovation, which mainly recognizes the achievements of major scientific and technological breakthroughs, and breakthroughs in major engineering and technological bottlenecks.
