According to foreign reports, Continental Group CEO Elmar Degenhart stated that the sales revenue of the Continental Power Transmission Systems Division and the In-vehicle Systems Division has exceeded development costs and achieved profit targets one year ahead of schedule.
The Continental Group stated that the profit before tax, depreciation, and amortization of the Power Transmission Systems Department in 2010 will be positive, one year ahead of schedule. In 2010, the Adjusted EBITDA will achieve positive growth.
Continental's in-vehicle system department expects that in early 2012, the adjusted EBIT margin could reach 7-8%, while the Power Transmission Systems Department can achieve this goal in 2013.
