Currently, shotcrete machines are divided into two types: dry concrete spraying machines and wet concrete shotcrete spraying machines.

Both are commonly used for pouring thin-walled structures such as tunnel linings, walls, and ceilings, as well as the covering layer of steel structures.

Dry spraying machines mix cement, sand, and gravel in a dry and even state, using compressed air to deliver materials to the nozzle where they are mixed with pressurized water for pouring. This method requires skilled operators, and the particle size must not be too large. However, due to the high amount of cement required and the high jet velocity, this leads to severe dust pollution and rebound, limiting its use.

Wet spraying machines deliver well-mixed concrete to the nozzle through conveying and pumping, with compressed air added at the outlet of the delivery pump. This ensures that materials and air are fully integrated within the pipe, making the poured material more uniform. Additionally, an accelerator is sprinkled on the nozzle to speed up material solidification and reduce the rebound rate. Moreover, its working efficiency is higher than dry spraying machines because the mixture of materials can be easily controlled.

Wet spraying machines are widely used in concrete spraying operations in places such as mines, tunnels, culverts, railways, hydro-power projects, underground engineering, and revetments.

Main Characteristics of Hydraulic Pump-type Wet Spraying Machine
The system is more reliable and has stable delivery capacity when using hydraulic pumping.

The main oil pump uses a variable displacement piston pump of constant power, allowing the delivery amount to be freely adjusted according to needs.
S-tube surfacing electrode, wear plate, and cutting ring are embedded with high-strength hard alloy, improving wear resistance and extending part life.
Equipped with a multi-point electric lubrication pump, ensuring effective grease filling and timing, thus increasing the service life of wearing parts.
Air cooling prevents damage caused by water cooling in winter.
Accelerator is added and controlled by a metering pump from a domestic famous brand, achieving accurate measurement and stepless speed regulation.
Dust concentration around the machine and nozzle is reduced, minimizing harm to the operator's health.

Lubrication System: it adopts separate lubrication of five points, and "point-to-point" lubrication guarantees that critical parts won't be worn out, thus increasing their service life.
Accelerator Metering Pump: reciprocating piston diaphragm pump is of high temperature resistance, erosion resistance and abrasion resistance, with high accuracy of measurement, and its speed can be regulated steplessly.
Characters of electronically controlled reversing system: low pumping pressure and high reversing speed, which reduce reversal impact and operator's labor intensity; two separate hydraulic circuits make the oil supply of system more stable; operation becomes simple and reliable through accurate control of PLC, which increases reversal speed of swing cylinder while reducing the reversal impact, at the same time, instantaneous action of large cylinder's reverse is accelerated, making concrete cylinder become substantial, increasing the continuity of materials supply and realizing even discharge.
