Rubber Fab Buna Flanged Tri-Clamp® Gaskets are an essential part of their comprehensive line of x-ray inspectable and metal detectable sanitary gaskets. These products offer food, dairy, and pharmaceutical manufacturers a reliable way to ensure product safety and integrity, as required by the Food Safety Modernization Act. Implementing an effective inspection program helps detect contaminants and maintain product quality, reducing waste, recalls, downtime, and customer complaints. Due to its low conductivity, elastomeric material can sometimes be missed by detection systems. However, Rubber Fab's Buna gaskets are designed to be detected by in-line x-ray systems, metal detectors, and magnetic separators, making them ideal for contamination control. Buna gasket particles are detectable down to 1mm in size.
Storing Buna Gaskets:
- Shelf Life: 10 Years from cure date
- Store in original packaging in clean and dry warehouse
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure
- Keep at least 6 feet away from electric motors
- Maintain temperature between 65°F and 85°F
