The "China Renewable Energy Outlook" report estimates that in order to achieve the "26%" target in 2030, China needs 145 billion U.S. dollars in renewable energy investment each year. From a revenue point of view, if the health and environmental benefits are taken into account, these investments will generate revenue equivalent to 55 billion to 228 billion U.S. dollars a year.
