In order to protect the personal and property safety and legal rights of consumers, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued an announcement to report the measures to be taken on the failure of the imported Aurora vehicle transmission.
1. According to the "Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall" and other laws and regulations, Land Rover must take practical and effective technical measures to complete the recall and repair of defective vehicles as soon as possible, and fulfill the commitments of extending the relevant transmission warranty to protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
2. Land Rover and its authorized dealers shall promptly issue announcements and contact the consumers to confirm whether the vehicles are defective and arrange for maintenance and follow-up.
3. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will continue to pay attention to this issue, and the entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions will continue to follow up supervision. Land Rover's authorized dealers and 4S stores must conscientiously fulfill their responsibilities and obligations as stipulated by laws and regulations, and cooperate with the supervision and inspection of inspection and quarantine institutions.
4. Since the date of the announcement, all local entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions have lifted the temporary risk control measures for vehicles that do not use the transmission; Land Rover and authorized dealers provide proof of the vehicles involved in the transmission to eliminate hidden dangers, and then inspect The quarantine agency shall adopt stricter inspection measures to initiate normal inspection and quarantine procedures.
