According to Chen Liang, general manager of Jinfeng Machinery Plant, the factory was founded by his father Chen Sikai. The harvester was produced in his early years, and later he mainly produced gasifiers, among which the gasifier won the County Science and Technology Progress Award. In the 90s of last century, the plant produced a dryer, which was mainly used for drying edible mushrooms. In 2001, after graduating from Jinhua Institute of Technology, Chen Liang came to his father factory and has been engaged in the production and operation of mechanical products. After many years of exploration, Chen Liang felt that companies should develop into specialized production. As a result, the father and son decided that the gasifier business will continue to be operated by the Jiufan Machinery Plant, a subsidiary of Jinfeng Machinery Factory. Chen Liang will target the field of medicinal wood dryers for specialized production. Chen Liang said: "In the past, there were many varieties of products in the company. Many of the products in the machinery industry were carried out. It was difficult to do fine and strong because of too many kinds of products." Since 2010, Jinfeng Machinery Factory has begun targeting drug drying. Machine, has been producing such products. By the end of this year, the first-generation dryers had introduced four models, the smallest one capable of baking 300 kilograms of medicinal materials and the largest one capable of drying 1.2 tons.

Chen Liang said.
In the exchanges with drug farmers and drug dealers, Chen Liang felt that it was necessary to upgrade the original dryer. Since last year, he embarked on the design of a new generation of medicinal material dryers. He encountered technical difficulties in research and development. He went to colleges and universities to visit experts and professors. “I often wake up in the morning and a new solution will appear in my mind.†Chen Liang’s R&D products can be said to be full of dedication, and sometimes she dreams of some technical problems. Through continuous efforts, the second-generation herbal medicine dryer has finally been successfully trial-produced. Subsequently, he invited a number of drug farmers to conduct drying experiments, which generally reflected good results. The second-generation dryer has the advantages of small work intensity, uniform heating, large capacity, and wider use. “The original dryer had to turn over the medicinal materials during the operation and required three people to operate. Now it is an assembly line operation that requires no turning; the minimum number of disposable medicinal materials is 1.5 tons, and the maximum is 2.4 tons; due to the inside of the hot air flow. The cycle has achieved the effect of saving energy and shortening the drying time." For the new product, Chen Liang is quite satisfied.
