In addition, due to the large processing area of ​​the project, if the preloading is carried out by using a pile, there will be a considerable amount of piled materials, which is facing the problems of the source of the piled materials, the reinforcement cost, and the duration of the reinforcement. Pile preloading method is not the best soft foundation reinforcement method for this project. After many aspects, the project uses vacuum preloading and vacuum preloading in combination with heap loading method to treat soft ground.
The reinforcement scheme divides the longitudinal 1600m wharf coastline into two sections in the north section and the south section in the plane, and then horizontally from the front line of the wharf to the heavy box yard, empty box yard and rear field. The soft foundation treatment vacuum preloading in each area is arranged in blocks of working units, and the north and south sections are simultaneously constructed.
