2008 Plastic Machinery Market Optimistic

According to the European Plastics Machinery Manufacturers Association (EPMMA), there has been a notable rise in sales and market orders for plastics machinery across Europe. As reported by "European Plastic Weekly," the festive season saw a significant boost in sales of plastic and rubber machinery products, with expectations that this positive trend will continue through 2008. In its annual market research report, EPMMA noted that in 2006, production of plastics in Europe increased by 6.4%, slightly down from the previous year. However, exports of plastic machinery surged by 39.2%, accounting for 68.2% of total production. This strong performance is expected to carry over into the first half of 2008, although the association hasn’t yet specified the exact growth rate. By the end of June 2007, two-thirds of surveyed companies reported “very good” sales, while 30% considered their performance “satisfactory.” The export market showed particularly strong results, with equipment order volumes expected to outperform those of the first half of 2007. Orders in the first six months of 2007 rose sharply, showing exponential growth. EPMMA also mentioned that most members believe market demand will remain stable in the second half of 2007, with only a small number anticipating further changes. Looking ahead, production levels of plastic machinery are expected to stay consistent in the first half of 2008. Two-thirds of manufacturers anticipate continued revenue growth, though only one-third believes there is still room for further sales expansion. Over half of the surveyed manufacturers planned to increase their workforce during the first half of 2007, with very few reporting no hiring. It is expected that more companies will expand their staff by the first half of 2008. Despite the positive outlook, many manufacturers highlighted challenges such as a shortage of skilled labor, supply chain issues, delays in deliveries, rising raw material costs, and limited access to supporting services. The EPMMA represents over 3,400 plastics processors, mold makers, auxiliary equipment suppliers, and plastic film press manufacturers. These firms employ more than 9,100 people and generated a total output value of 15.7 billion euros in 2006.

Prepainted Galvalume Steel

In today's highly competitive and quality-demanding fields of construction and manufacturing, Prepainted Galvalume Steel stands out with its outstanding performance and unique advantages, and has become the preferred material for many projects.

The core of Prepainted Galvalume Steel lies in its advanced aluminized zinc coating. This coating is an alloy composed of aluminium, zinc and silicon, which provides unparalleled anti-corrosion protection for steel plates. Aluminum forms a dense oxide film on the surface, effectively blocking the invasion of oxygen and moisture, and greatly delaying the rusting process of steel plates. Zinc has a cathodic protection effect. Even if there are minor damages on the coating surface, zinc can corrode preferentially, thereby protecting the steel plate substrate from erosion. This dual protection mechanism enables Prepainted Galvalume Steel to maintain a long service life under various harsh environmental conditions, such as humid coastal areas and regions with severe industrial pollution, providing reliable structural guarantees for buildings and products.

The pre-coating process is another major highlight of Prepainted Galvalume Steel. In a factory environment, after precise pretreatment, steel plates are coated with one or more layers of high-performance coatings. These coatings not only offer a wide range of colors to choose from, which can meet different architectural styles and design requirements, but also have excellent weather resistance, UV resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. Whether in hot areas exposed to intense sunlight or in places with frequent acid rain, the coating of Prepainted Galvalume Steel can maintain bright colors, not fade or powderize, adding lasting beauty to the appearance of buildings.

Prepainted Galvalume Steel also has good processing performance. It can easily perform processing operations such as cutting, bending and stamping to produce building components and industrial products of various shapes and specifications. This enables designers and manufacturers to fully exert their creativity, realize complex design concepts, and provide more possibilities for the project. Moreover, due to its relatively light weight, it is more convenient during transportation and installation, which can effectively reduce construction costs and time.

In the field of construction, Prepainted Galvalume Steel is widely used in parts such as roofs, walls and ceilings. It not only provides reliable waterproofing and heat insulation performance for buildings, but also creates a fashionable and modern appearance effect. In industrial manufacturing, it is used to produce home appliance casings, automotive parts and other products, endowing them with high-quality appearance and excellent durability.

Prepainted Galvalume Steel, with its outstanding anti-corrosion performance, beautiful appearance, good processing performance and wide application fields, has become an indispensable high-quality material in modern construction and manufacturing. Choosing Prepainted Galvalume Steel means choosing quality, choosing reliability and choosing the future.
