Domestic-made minimal intermeshing mixer

On the eve of National Day, Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co., Ltd. made a significant breakthrough by independently developing and launching the domestically smallest-capacity intermeshing GE5 test mixer. The unit successfully passed air load testing and on-site rigorous inspections. All technical specifications met the design requirements, marking a major step forward in domestic tire manufacturing technology. This model will not be exported to joint-venture companies, but instead will be used for advanced research and development within China. Yiyang Rubber Machinery Co., Ltd. offers two main types of internal mixers: the N-type (tangent type) and the E-type (intermeshing type). The E-type mixer is equipped with the world-leading PES3 intermeshing rotor, which effectively addresses the challenge of mixing rubber after using silica in radial tires. It also simplifies the traditional multi-stage mixing process into a single stage, significantly improving efficiency. When used with silica-filled rubber compounds, it enhances grip, increases wear resistance, and reduces rolling resistance. The intermeshing internal mixer ensures uniform mixing of various special rubber and filler compounds, making it ideal for high-end radial tire production and other advanced rubber products. In addition to continuing the serialization of the N-type mixer, the company has been actively advancing its R&D in the E-type mixer. Both the E-type rotor and the hydraulic top pin technology have received national utility model patents. The E-type mixer family now includes over 10 models, with the largest being the GE580 and the smallest being the GE5, both developed and manufactured by the company.
