The Jiangsu Science and Technology Project titled "Research and Development of High-efficiency Multi-functional Straw Returning Technology and Machine Tools" has recently conducted a live equipment demonstration in Guanyun County, Lianyungang City. This project, primarily led by the Institute of Agricultural Mechanization under the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, showcased its latest innovation: the "1GJQN-165 Straw Crushing-Rotary Till Combination Multi-purpose Machine." During the event, the machine was successfully used to crush cotton straw, receiving positive feedback from local leaders, agricultural experts, and farmers.
Prior to this demonstration, the machine had already passed rigorous testing at the Jiangsu Agricultural Machinery Test Station, meeting all design specifications and performance standards. The machine's innovative design features a combined structure that not only simplifies assembly but also addresses issues related to unit suspension and longitudinal stability. It offers versatility, allowing it to function as a standalone straw crusher or rotary tiller depending on farming needs, or be combined into a multi-functional unit, significantly enhancing its adaptability.
A notable feature is the "two-way output straw crushing transmission box," which ensures smooth operation and reliable power transmission. The grinding cutter shaft is designed with a symmetrical staggered arrangement, ensuring balanced force distribution, leading to stable and low-vibration operation. Additionally, the machine incorporates interchangeable cutting tools—either a pulverizing knife or a hammer—allowing it to meet different crop requirements efficiently.
Field tests have demonstrated that the machine can effectively process short-stalk crops like rice and wheat, as well as tall crops such as corn and cotton. It not only improves straw return efficiency but also helps reduce environmental pollution caused by burning straw, while increasing soil organic matter content. This technology represents a significant step forward in sustainable agricultural practices and supports the goal of resource recycling in rural areas.
Used for the 1st and 2nd stage separation equipment of the solid control system which is used in drilling and horizontal wells.
