· Audi A3 will cancel the new version of the three-door hatchback released in 2019

According to foreign media reports on August 8, Audi executives recently confirmed that the next-generation (fourth-generation) A3 model will cancel the three-door version of the hatchback, and the new five-door version will be released in 2019.
It is reported that Audi made this decision because the overall sales of the A3 three-door version is not good. As early as 2011, this model has already withdrawn from the Australian market, and the fourth-generation A3 hatchback five-door model is expected to be available in 2019.
With the continuous growth of A4 sales and the best-selling in China and the United States, the A3 series will once again launch a four-door sedan. It is said that this model will be larger than the current A4 and is expected to be launched in 2020.
In addition, Audi is planning to launch the A3 derivative model. This new model will adopt a five-door hatchback design and is expected to be named Sportback.
The introduction of the Audi A3 hatchback means that this series is not limited to the choice of conventional five-door and four-door vehicles. The new car is expected to enter the market in 2021 and will compete with Mercedes-Benz CLA.
