The 600,000-ton-per-year ketone-benzene dewaxing unit at PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical Company officially launched all processes at 4:00 PM on the same day and successfully produced qualified products, marking a successful steaming process. This milestone represents a major step forward in the company's refining restructuring efforts.
The completion of this advanced dewaxing unit is expected to significantly enhance the overall deodorization capacity of ketone benzene to 1.6 million tons annually. It will also enable the production of nearly 600,000 tons of paraffin wax per year, which is close to the global total output. With an annual export volume anticipated to reach 200,000 tons, the company will account for approximately one-sixth of the global paraffin trade. This achievement positions Fushun as the world’s largest paraffin production and export base, greatly boosting its international reputation and market standing.
